What an incredible year 2009 has been! 3RUN would like to say a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of our friends and family from across the globe!

3RUN's Biggest adventure yet! Chase Armitage was approached to feature in a new Movie in production titled Beat the World. He was not only asked to play the role of lead free runner, but to take on the task of choreographing all of the free running action that happens in the film. We cant give away to much information, but we can say that it is a Dance film that combines Hip Hop with Free Running and Parkour. Chase had his boys Nathan, Mat and Cole fly out to play the other 3 free running characters in the film and together they created some really beautiful free running scenes throughout the film.
Working with so many incredible people, we made life long friends and learnt so much along the way. The big task of the film was fusing the two worlds of dance and free running, and we really did make it happen, coaching the dancers and being coached in the art of dance in return. The 3RUN boys were away working in Toronto for almost 3 months. Living life there was incredible, going to the film festivals, seeing Niagara falls and training hard almost every single day.
The film is planned to hit cinemas around the world summer/winter 2010 so keep your eyes out for adverts and trailer and know that 3RUN will have exclusive news as and when it comes! Stay tuned for more!

Sam, Chase, Mat and Shaun were in London today for a unique photo shoot, seeking to explore the body in motion. Illustrating all of the body's tensing and mechanics that come into play when ever 3RUN perform their movements.
The Studio was set with 3 cameras shooting simultaneously from different angles to capture every single angle and every subtle movement of the body whilst the Freerunners were performing their movements.

The usual meet at Imax, soon turned into the usual splitting into parties to hit various spots across the UK's capital. With many heading straight to the pier, others made their way to some of the other more urban built up areas.
Some great Parkour, awesome Freerunning and a lot of meeting old friends and making new ones! Exactly what the 3RUN family jam has always been about!

We are unable to give away what happens in the video, but it is set to be a really interesting vid with some moody shots captured.

*// 3RUN performance athletes Sam, Cole and Nathan headed to London - West India Quay to perform for a unique photo-shoot with the incredible artist - Edgar Muller.
Muller's paintings have attracted thousands across the globe, and with the 3RUN athletes performing exciting acrobatics and flips over the top of the stunning image, the results could only be great!
*// 3RUN performance athletes have had an extremely busy past couple of weeks. Chase and Adam have been working hard providing action sequences with the stunt team on Harry Potter and the Dealthy Hallows.
As part of the brand new Samsung Jet smartphone launch; Sam and Cole were performing in Dubai, Nathan and Fabio were performing in Singapore and Mat and Shaun were performing in London. Each pair was accompanied by a group of talented dancers and together with choreography from the fantastic Vicki, Amber and Farouk. Each performance team provided the same explosive performance in each of the 3 venues across the world on the same day.
The shows all went without hitch, and the events went down a storm with a fantastic release for the Jet mobile phone!
The evening after the performance in Dubai saw, Cole and Sam fly directly to Delhi - India to join forces with 3RUN athletes Cane, Scott, James and Curtis to begin choreography and rehearsals for a performance to launch the new Fiat Punto to the India press.
The show went without hitch and we have to give a big shout out to all of the fantastic new friends we have met along the way. To Vicki especially for being a legend and an extremely talented choreographer. To Billy for pulling everything together. To Amber an Farouk for their awesome choreography support. To all the amazing dancers we worked with on the Samsung project, and to the inline skaters, martial arts females and acro basketballers we met in India!
A fantastic couple of weeks and things set to continue to get busier and busier as we get back to some more hardcore training, cranking it to level 11 (Leveeeeeeen!)

*// 3RUN athletes Chase, Cole, Sam, Nathan, Shaun and Adam return from 10 days in India - Mumbai. With rehearsals building up to a huge live stunt show performance for the highly anticipated 'Rock and Shock stunt show' with Pritam.
With the set replicating an urban street, including a number of buildings and street lamps for the 3RUN Free Runners to roam across and over. There were opportunities for some big building jumps, and some crazy street stunt acrobatics from balconys and even out of building windows!
As ever, the experience was incredible. Meeting some of the most amazing people, seeing some absolutely stunning sights including Elephanta Island with Ancient Hindu caves and awesome Monkeys!
The Rock and Shock stunt show went, as ever, without hitch and was received amazingly. With 3RUN choreographing 3 seperate performances to wow the crowds. The performers arrive home absolutely buzzing.
A huge shout out to all of the organisers from GS and the amazing new friends we have made along the way!
With our main man "Johnson" providing the craziest rally driving to the airport after the show, our hearts were firmly in our throats. But now it's back to some hardcore training, and hopefully we will return to India again some time very soon.
*// 3RUN athletes Chase, Cole, Sam and Shaun have been working at the infamous PineWood Studios ready to launch the new series of Guiness World Records Smashed!
3RUN will be providing a high impact opening Free Running sequence in front of a packed out live audience, opening the show with a real bang! And to top it all off, 3RUN's very own Chase Armitage will kick start the series with a Guiness World Record attempt for the 'furthest' Wallflip. To make matters that little more exciting, Chase has decided to have a car driving directly underneath him as he attempts to flip over the top!
Hosted by the fantastic Connie Huq and Steve Jones, Episode 1 will be featuring a number of record attempts from Chocolate Eggs being kicked off American Football player's helmets, to egg catching with professional Rugby players and of course Chase's huge Wallflip attempt!
Tune in on Sky 1, Sky 2 or Sky 3 as of April 26th to see the 3RUN performance team in action. And of course see how Chase gets on with his mammoth challenge!

*// 3RUN were commissioned to choreograph and perform an opening sequence and half time show in Istanbul for the highly anticipated Fifa World Cup qualifier between Turkey and Spain. Providing a combination performance of FreeRunning and Poweriser/Pro Jumps.
With a variety of level boxes to leap over and across, the performance team choreographed a fully FreeRunning intensive opening show and a combination performance to entertain the crowds at half time.
As ever, we all had an amazing time, with laughter and fun throughout. Painted up with stripes and performing to an over 25,000 strong live audience.
A huge thanks has to go out to the organisers, in particular Neyran. And the team had a fantastic time and look forward to heading back out to Turkey in the future!
*// Every year the 3RUN performance team seek to raise money for good causes, and the latest charity event was organised to aid the Ward 8 charity - 'Ward 8' is a childrens ward in Mbabane, Swaziland. The children there are all orphaned / abandoned. Many of them have HIV.
The challenge was set to climb one of Britain's 3 peaks - Mt Snowden in Wales. However, unlike anyone else who would be climbing the mountain, 3RUN's challenge was to go that 1 step further and perform 100 acrobatic tricks at the top.
The weekend of 21st March, saw 20 members of the 3RUN family take on the challenge, and tackle it head on!
The whole mission was a fantastic experience from sleeping in the cars waking up at 6 am, to some truly amazing natural views on the way up and down the mountain.

A beautiful country, which is certainly experiencing some vast expansion and growth over these recent years. Recognised by Vodafone as an opportunity to further expand Internationally.
Chase and Nathan were initially involved in the huge 'Switch On' event, which esseantially announced Vodafone's launch in Qatar. Working again with our boy Roger, as ever pushing the creativity to new lengths of live shows.
Followed up 2 weeks later by Sam's arrival with Ryan Doyle, and some of the World's top Football Freestylers - Dan and Billy. This involved promotional performances of exciting Parkour, FreeRunning and Acrobatic displays to audiences attending the Vodafone Question and Answer session, even including acrobatic flips and Diving vaults over Lewis Hamilton's F1 car! As well as a stage introduction performance to kick start the evening, which as ever went without hitch.

*// 3RUN performance team headed to London on the evening of Sunday the 15th for a one off special performance for the premiere of the new Ben 10 Cartoon Network Series infront of a packed audience including David Cameron and Tony Blair!
3RUN sent a 10 man performance team to the packed out venue at the London Billingsgate Market on Sunday the 15th of February for the exclusive UK Premier of the new Ben 10 cartoon network series.
With a fantastic audience, the venue was essentially split into two symmetrical cinema screenings, which allowed 3RUN to split into two 5-man strong performance teams.
Each choreographing and performing an 8 minute performance consisting of floor acrobatics, jumps off the high balcony, railing handstands off the balcony and a lot of Free Running and Parkour combination movements. The 3RUN performance teams wowed the crowds - both children and adults alike creating for a real buzz with the opening displays.
The show as ever went without hitch and the organisation of the event on whole was handled impeccably. And for that, a huge thanks must go out to JD, Mick and Matt Stone for making it happen.
We did stick around for the screening after the performance, and though not all of us (accept Shaun) are exactly Ben 10 fans. We were definitely able to see that the new series looks great! Even though we are still eagerly awaiting Cartoon Network to bring back Dragon Ball Z!! ;)

*// Today 3RUN boys Chase and Nathan return home from India after what was one of the best live performances to date! 3RUN were approached to produce an electric opening show for the 2009 Techfest out in Mumbai. The project streched out to cover Parkour, Free Running, Martial Arts and Power Rising. We had the pleasure to have good friends Fabio, Ian and Ash rocking along for the fun.
We had a day to rehearse, choreograph, mix the tracks and prepare. It was a push but all was complete ready for the big opening! To our amazement there were to be 30,000 students attending from all around the World. The Stage was incredible! designed by our very own Nathan Barris it was kitted out with a super bar set, various boxes and platforms, cars and a flag pole up top for you know what.
We all agreed that this performance was one of the best yet! The reaction of the crowd was incredible! We really pushed the limits and tried to show India every spectacular trick in the book and it was received with an eletric roar that felt as if it were from a scene in gladiator! The performance went text book and we were all so pleased with the show we put on for the people of India. Much love goes out to everyone who came and supported us, to our good friends who helped make it happen and took great care of us! A special shout out to Nikhil aka "The Cream" for making all things possible ^_^
After the fun and games were over we held an open workshop for all to come and learn about the arts and way of life behind 3RUN and what we do. We had such a great time and were really happy to introduce the arts to India as it is almost unheard of. We finished our time in India with a tour and checked out the events going on around the festival. All in all, this trip was a mind-blowing experience and for sure, we will be back!

Having a truly incredible time meeting so many new faces, traveling from LA to Florida Key West. Next stop was the famous Muscle Beach! We visited this place day and night for training. It was great to see a place that is dedicated to training and open to everyone. and on top of this was on the beach with beautiful weather! We did our thing and came away with some nice pics.
Rocking down Hollywood Blvd we located the only Star that really mattered to us. Ladies and Gentlemen, Jackie Chan!
On our travels we stopped in Las Vegas for a few days, which was incredible! for sure we rocked it there with loads of training and to top it off, we took a skydive together over the snow covered Vegas which was a rare and beautiful sight. This was one of the best times and the pictures show it!
After Las Vegas it was on to the Hoover Dam, driving up to Texas where we got together with a huge group of freerunners for some training and chilling which was an amazing time! everyone was so cool and welcoming to us. *// Today we are happy to welcome back the 3RUN Bro's Cole and Chase Armitage from their two weeks in Mexico! The Brothers were shooting for a 2 hour reality TV show to be aired by the biggest company in Latin America, Televisa. To promote tourism in Mexico extreme company Altius brought out 10 of the Worlds extreme athletes, 2 Freerunners, 4 BASE jumpers, 2 Free riders and 2 Acrobatic plane piolets.
We spent our time traveling to the most spectacular locations to film and share our experience with the viewers. We had to keep reminding ourself's that we were working! We visited two temples, a waterpark and spa, a forest with a million butterflies, a cave in the mountains, and botanic garden. We were all living together in the Big brother house in which we were filmed interacting and having fun together.
After performing our 3RUN magic all over Mexico it was time for a well deserved visit to the Spa and waterpark which was closed just for the two BASE jumpers Miles and Shane and 3RUN bro's.
Having made so many great firends out in Mexico we decided to extend our stay to go traveling. We took a over night coach to the small surfing town Peurto Escondido to continue filming for a 3RUN production in the making. Riding the waves and climbing every day kept up with the energy from the whole trip.
Returning back to Mexico city for one more day we met up with great friends and incredible photographers Marcos & Nanna to chill and ended up doing our own photoshoot on a roof top studio.
*// Sam recently worked co-ordinating and cunsulting with leading photographer Guy Farrow (www.guy-farrow.co.uk) for an underwear shoot for Freya. The shoot features some Parkour and Freerunning related movements to illustrate the functionality of their new underwear range.

*// 3RUN complete shooting Alesha Dixon's exciting new come back single; The Boy Does Nothing! After her famous win on Strictly Come Dancing, Alesha steps up once more and hits the charts.
Nathan, Shaun, Mat and Scott headed to London to help shoot the new music video, and what an interesting time they had!
Taking the characters of 1920's dancers with bright shirts and braces, the guys hit the acrobatic parts with some cool floor tricks and Nathan hitting the wall with one of his special Wall Flip Flash Kicks.

*// 3RUN Bro's Back from Mexico!.. "Mexico, It was incredible! We had such a journey of development, of learning, making new friends and seeing amazing places."
Invited to represent the arts of movement 3RUN's very own Chase and Cole spent 5 days in Mexico's small town Pachuca traveling around with camera crews shooting action sequences and just having all out fun. Promoting the Extreme Adventure Hidalgo they got involved in various charity events, one to help clean up a beautiful lake from pollution and another to help build awareness to the 256 new homes being built for the poor. "it was our pleasure to help."
We spent lots of time with our good friends from France Julien and Fabien, Julien a pro moto trials rider who was always rocking out with us. What really made this trip for us was the people, Being surrounded by extreme sports athletes who all shared a similar philosophy made each day exciting and something to look forward to. We also hooked up with the Monos Urbanos Parkour team from Mexico. These guys and girls were absolute legends and really made us feel at home.
A huge shout out goes to our Boy Gabo (pictured below) as the man who jumped out from a helicopter on the last days show, and went for a bike landing =)) We really have so much love and respect for everyone we met and worked with! 3RUN Media are currently in edit of the short doc expected in the next month. *// 3RUN Parkour and Freerunning Action performance team members Sam, Adam, Curtis and Cane teamed up with 3RUN Family members Bobby Gordon-Smith and Ryan Doyle in Hannover, Germany for 2 weeks of electric live shows to launch the brand new Pick Up Truck from Volkswagen on its world wide release.
The 3RUN performance team ensured that each and every show was packed full of exciting moves leaving the spectator's senses well and truly slaughtered throughout each show.
The set design was one of the most interesting and ambitious that we have come to work on. With a huge stage, the 3RUN performance team helped choreograph the show utilizing, scaffold sets, sunken trampolines, scaffold bars suspended out of the back board and even a metre wide Tred-Mill infront of the huge screens which featured some clips from the 3RUN showreel – The Frontier.
With thousands of clients, distributors and press from the world over, the launch was a huge success with the guys completing a total of 53 exhilarating shows inline with the Volkswagen slogan: “Go All Ways”.
Images and video of the initial launch shows can be found in popular car magazines over the world with News stations also getting in on the exciting release.
The 3RUN guys pulled out all the stops maintaining a high level of energy throughout all of the shows, still determined to provide some eye-popping movements for the spectators.
As ever, the 3RUN Parkour, Freerun and Urban Acro performance team had an amazing time, and when not working, its always pure laughs!!
The exhibition was simply massive. The Volkswagen set was in just one of the 20+ hangers throughout the site, attracting manufacturing giants from across the world, exhibiting the wierd and wonderful from Trikes, to Cranes & Racing Trucks.
We had a particularly special moment on the 30th September where we had a special show at 7 Pm to kick off the VIP Volkswagen party. The spectators were all of the VW staff and helpers throughout the event, showing incredible enthusiasm and support for the 4 guys performing at the time. Undoubtedly one of, if not the best performance moment for many of us, as the audience erupted, so much so that the VW CEO himself stepped on stage to congratulate and thank the guys personally.
And finally of course, a massive shout out to our good friends from Move Artistic, all the guys made a 4 hour bus journey to come and say hi, and show some love.

*// September 14th 3RUN go live on ITV's prime time show "For one night only". The team were approached to perform in the opening and closing sequences alongside the Pussycat Dolls and Boyzone.
We had two days of rehearsals which were long and hard, but that didnt matter because we were having such a great time together! RAZZLE DAZZLE lol
SHOWTIME! On Sunday we all rolled up to the studios excited and ready for action! We got the dress rehearsals over with and it was back to having fun, Chase, Safe-T and Danny warmed up the crowds with their imaginary DJ skills! =))
We even got Mr Vernon Kay to pose with us and represent our boys from up north in the bad ass Airborn stance =)) (c) Airborn Entertainment ^_^
Enough messing about, it was time to jump into the makeup and funky clothes and get ready to open the show!

The show was a great success! we had so much fun performing and working together, we always have a super time when were together, just nothing can beat doing what you love, and being with those you love. We met Joan who was an absolute legend! really really down to earth and very funny! constant jokes.
The lads from Boyzone were also proper dudes! really down to earth and great to work with. We think they may be attending our next gym class as they wanted to learn a trick or two =))
Now for the grand master, our boy Brian who was an absolute star to us! He was in charge of the choreography and did a top job of it, very paitent and super friendly, we hope to be so lucky to work together in the near future. What a Dude.
Well 3RUN being 3RUN we have a little something special in this update, We were chilling in the after party with the guys,and captured a very rare event ^_^ We are happy to bring you, B-BOY Battle, Vernon Kay VS Ryan Doyle and Nathan Barris =))

*// September 2nd - September 6th saw 3RUN Parkour and Freerun performance team head out to Ukraine for a highly ambitious live event on the evening of Friday 5th September.
Working with our close friends from Magic Events who we would like to say a huge thankyou too! 3RUN were in charge of choreography and set design for the huge celebration of the 10th Anniversary for Ukraine Television channel 'New Channel'.
The first day involved meeting and greeting the other performers involved in the event to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Ukrainian Television's 'New Channel'.
Blessed with some truely beautiful weather, the 3RUN physical movement team met up with the guys from Hi Tech Breakdance, and Parkour Kiev, sharing initial ideas and choreography concepts.
With time constraints in place, the 3RUN Parkour and Freerun performance team leapt straight into choreography for the two 7 minute performances responsible for choreography of the '3RUN show' and the finale involving 3RUN action team, Parkour Kiev, and Hi-Tech Breakdance crew.
As ever, the guys had an absolute blast. With tight deadlines, and a hell of a lot of performers to help choreograph, the final show was nothing short of spectacular.
On a huge Scaffold rig and stage, involving Live Bands, Flatland BMX'ers, Breakdancers, Roller Bladers and of course Traceurs, and Freerunners. The show went without hitch, ending in a truely explosive firework set and logo revelation.

3runs Nathan, Cole and Adam have returned from their 2 month job in Abu Dhabi having performed over 180 shows in just 54 days.
It was a tough job for the guys but in true 3run style they killed it as always.
'Summer in Abu Dhabi' has ended up being the biggest show in the history of the city and 3run are very proud to have been a pivotal part of that.
6 days a week the guys would perform 3 shows every weekday and 5 shows every weekend.
The guys worked along side 2 top class football freestylers, 2 fantastic bmx flatlanders and a talented breakdancer who loves Michael Jackson!
Overall the guys had a great time and have came away with new skills and over 180 successful shows under their belts.
*// 3RUN perform live at Nick Heidfeld's big Birthday Bash in Zurich, Switzerland!
Sam, Bobby and Ryan headed out to Switzerland early Friday morning, teaming up with our good friend Alex from Move Productions, ready to begin rehearsals for the main show to celebrate Nick's Formula 1 birthday in true style!
With 4 big roles in the main show, rehearsals were extensive. As the opening sequence for Nick's big entrance, the impactful sequence to tease the FreeRunning elements, the main Freerunning performance and finally the destruction of the stage screen to reveal the live band that played us all into the night!
The weather was incredible, Zurich was beautiful and with some spare time between rehearsals, the guys managed to steal a bit of time for training, climbing and even taking a swim in the Zurich Lake! Nick was a legend and even allowed us to spot him for a backflip as part of his opening speech sequence!

August 9th 2008 marked the day for yet another ground breaking 3RUN FAMILY jam! 3 years running now, and this years jam was bigger than ever before. With literally hundreds of Traceurs, Freerunners and Trickers coming to London from all corners of the world with one thing in mind.To have fun, train and come together as the 3RUN family.

It wouldn't be fair not to mention our very own TK17, for whom if it wasn't for, this jam would never have been born!
The jam spanned throughout the whole day on Saturday 9th August, bringing friends and family together to train and meet & greet in an electric atmosphere.

*// Sam and Curtis flew out to Berlin in Germany to film the Video content for the Valkswagen show in late September.
The guys flew into Berlin on the evening of the 23rd of July. After being greeted by Move Production's Alex and Daniel, the guys headed straight to the hotel to get some sleep ready for filming the next day.
With a 6.a.m wake up, the guys headed directly to the studio after grabbing a few bites for breakfast. The studio was a full white set up and the guys met with the Director to discuss the details of the shoot. The video was to be shot in 125fps with the new RED camera, creating an abstract white environment with blocks and obstacles. After offering a few exciting movement sequences to production, Sam and Curtis set off for Make up and Wardrobe ready for shooting at 8:30.a.m.
With a long list of shots on the story board, and with a tight single day shooting schedule, Sam and Curtis were put through their paces throughout the day performing right through until 8.p.m. where the final scaffolding shots were taken. As ever, the 3RUN guys pushed the limits to provide some really nice movement sequences, making new friends and providing for what we know will be some fantastic results in the final edit.
That night Sam and Curtis were joined by 6 others from the 3RUN team to provide live performance sets in preparation for the show in late September.
After an exhausting few days of late nights, extremely early wake ups and non stop performing, the guys had a great time and are looking forward to showing the results as and when we receive them.
*// Cole, Sam and Nathan spent the day at Portsmouth Cathedral performing and coaching for the Portsmouth Festivities event. The guys spent the afternoon coaching a free workshop for 11-18 years olds interested to learn more about Parkour and FreeRunning. The 3RUN guys, then prepared for a live performance later that evening.
Having been heavily advertised on Television, Radio and News Paper, the event had sold over 100 tickets (over double last years sales) so the guys were ready to put on a real show for the packed venue within the Cathedral walls. However, no-one had anticipated the number of people seeking to buy tickets on the door. By the time the performance began, the cathedral was packed out with over 200 spectators who came to watch the 3RUN guys leap off walls, and flip off high ledges to the organ sounds of Organ Master David Price. Needless to say the show was an outstanding success and with the great response from the workshop participants too boot the guys were pleased to say the least, as Cole and Nathan shot home to meet Adam for their plane to Dubai!!!

As ever 3RUN pushed the boat out for this event, and had a truely amazing time along the way. Some great new friends made and some amazing new experiences for all of us. Huge Thankyou to the Ignition team, particularly Simon, Rob and Georgie; absolute stars, and a pleasure to work with!
3RUN provided an electric choreographed performance on the scaffold rig, and over the Ford Kuga to open the show each day.
3RUN were also invited to test out the new Kuga SUV's for themselves. From shooting round the race track to off road rallying, we put the Kuga's to the test, and they took everything we could give, with ease.
The video will be up in the near future but for now we ve got a few pictures to document the project, which has spanned the past two weeks.

*// The Boys are at it again! Adam and Chase recently returned from Budapest. The shoot was for Russian clothing company SELA. Chase was asked to be the stunt double for the main actor/model. Knowing that the script needed another well trained stunt performer, & may we add, good looking chap =) Adam was invited to assist Chase through some tricky stunts.
"We truly had such a great time! so much fun and constant jokes to get us through those 4am starts. Levels were pushed for this commercial. We had to do things that we had never done before, and in true 3RUN spirit we pulled out all the stops to create a beautiful piece. As always great friends made, good times had and blessed to be." The '3RUN Monkeys' choreographed and performed a sequence in full Monkey outfits on stage to a sold out live audience!
Always keen to smash the next challenge, 3RUN stepped up to perform a truly unique set, making use of a specially rigged scaffold section, catwalk, and stage props.
